IES Hort de Feliu is situated in the East of Spain, very near the important city of Valencia, with its impressive City of Science and Oceanographic. Environment is one of the greatest concerns in our school. In fact, this academic course 2007-08 we have planned a recycling workshop. Since the main economic activities in the area are agriculture and industry, the environment is also a major concern for the town council. The teaching staff are also seriously involved in the town’s social life. So far we have not taken part in any exchange activities with other European countries and we are looking forward to participate in this experience with the aim of broadening our students’ horizons and help them to understand the European reality.
